Foster’s Daily Democrat published a 24-page booklet about this year’s Gosport Regatta a few weeks back, featuring articles on the history of the race, ticket information, the menu of the day, and a look at the future of Star Island — both our immediate plans and upcoming season as well as long-term goals of sustainability and growth.

Vaughn Cottage is a small library, museum and archives located on Star Island. This rich and diverse collection is open to the public during the summer months.

Star Island is one of the rocky, wind-swept Isles of Shoals, located off the coast of Rye, New Hampshire. For over 100 years, summers here have provided individuals and families with a welcome respite from their busy mainland lives.
