Six days of true retreat and inspiration for writing students enrolled in SNHU graduate program in writing. Visiting writer, David Carroll, a MacArthur Foundation Fellow, is the author of three acclaimed natural histories: “The Year of the Turtle,” “Trout Reflections,” “Swamp Walker’s Journal.” He is also the author of a memoir, “Self-Portrait with Turtles,” and his fifth book, “Following the Water, a Hydromancer’s Notebook,” was a National Book Foundation finalist.
