How to register | Ticket prices | Lodging | Event schedule | Contact | MenuThe fourth annual Gosport Regatta will set sail from the start line in the Piscataqua River basin on Saturday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m. Race classes include cruising, racing, and J-24, as well as a team cup for yacht clubs entering three or more boats. The Gosport Regatta is held in partnership with the Piscataqua Sailing Association.

The centerpiece of this new conference features a sail race that was first hosted in 1874 and carries the tradition of winning the Oceanic Cup, first won by the original yacht “America.” Follow the race from the starting line on the M/V Thomas Laighton departing Portsmouth at 10:25 a.m. Come ashore in time for lunch with entertainment by the Funky Divas and best views of the finish line. A BBQ and awards reception brings race crews and spectators together in the Oceanic Hotel dining hall. Constellation, an acoustic folk duet featuring guitar, hammered dulcimer and vocals, will perform during the Sunday morning brunch.

Regatta overnights guests are subject to Star Island’s standard cancellation policy: Deposits are refundable up to four weeks before the start of the program. For cancellations less than two weeks before the start of the program, registrants will be charged what is equal to the entire room and board bill.

Ticket prices

Spectator Ticket – $80.00
Spectator Ticket includes round-trip cruise on m/v Thomas Laighton, light lunch and awards banquet reception in Oceanic Dining Room.

Spectator Ticket with overnight lodging – $175.00
This weekend package includes the Sponsors and Skipper’s party on Thursday, June 6, a spectator ticket plus overnight lodging with Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Racer Ticket – $40.00 plus boat registration fee
Racer Ticket includes the Sponsors and Skipper’s party on Thursday, June 6 at 5 PM and Saturday awards banquet reception in Oceanic Dining Room.

Racer Ticket with overnight lodging – $150 plus boat registration fee
Includes the Sponsor and Skipper’s party on Thursday, June 6 at 5 PM, Saturday awards reception in the Oceanic Hotel Dining Hall, and overnight lodging and Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Note for Skippers and crew: Wrist bands will be provided to skippers for all crew who purchase tickets for the awards reception. Wrist bands will be required to come ashore for the event.

Lodging for Gosport Regatta

There are a limited number of rooms available for Saturday evening on Star Island. Room reservations include Sunday Jazz Brunch and transportation back to Portsmouth via the M/V Thomas Laighton.

Overnight guests will be housed in cottages and “motel-style” units separate from the main hotel. Most rooms have two twin beds and private toilets and sinks. Some rooms have shared bathrooms.
