Dining

At Star Island we believe that sharing a common meal with family and friends, trying new and classic foods together while discussing the day’s events, is an important aspect of daily life.

We strive to do our best in accommodating needs and provide vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options at every meal.

Individuals with food allergies MUST inform the Registrar of the conference they are attending about specific allergy needs prior to arriving on island. If you are unsure who to contact in your program, please contact John Bynum, Food Service Manager.

***Please note, we use peanuts and peanut butter in our kitchen – which serves upwards of 300 people daily. If you have a severe nut allergy we ask that you seriously take into consideration that our kitchen is not nut free and we are located in a remote setting miles out to sea. We are able to provide nut free options for your meals, but we cannot guarantee the absence of cross‐contamination in our foods.
