The Position Of Conference Registrar

The Conference Registrar is a vital role to successfully manage the guests of your conference.  The Conference Registrar is the main contact for conferee questions or registration issues.  Conferees are directed to communicate with their Conference Registrar instead of the Island Registrar.  The Conference Registrar should then communicate to the Island Registrar, if necessary. For some small conferences, the job of Conference Registrar is performed by the Conference Chair/Leader. For larger conferences, the Conference Registrar is a separate position with a designated term.

This position is necessary for the island to run properly and to provide your conference with the best possible experience. Good communication, accuracy, and timeliness are essential. The Island Registrar is available for assistance and guidance throughout the registration period.
