Yoga, yoga, eat has become a well loved mantra during our annual retreats. It symbolizes not only the sharing of moments on the mat, but the sense of community we build through the sharing of (delicious) meals together! We are pleased to offer various styles of yoga, pilates and meditation classes for all levels of practitioners from beginner to advanced. Freedom is given to choose from classes offered or design your own practice.
Note: you need not be a member of the studio…but by the end of the weekend you’ll want to be!

Star Gathering II Family Conference

As we experience the wonder of Star Island, we will gaze inward through teaching, practice and dialogue to connect with the Spirit of God dwelling majestically within us. Meditation and contemplative prayer enable us to live mindfully in the Presence of God even when we return to the mainland; the gate of heaven is everywhere.
Worship Theme: The Holy Revealed by the Sea & the Star
From the beginning the Spirit of God hovered over the depths of the waters, and today sojourners experience this Spirit on Star Island. We will explore the presence of God using the imagery of sea and stars through scripture, storytelling and poetry. God calls us still into this deep water of transformation and grace.
Program Fee: $150/person $100/adult (18 and over), $100/youth (14-17), and $75/child (13 and under).
The room and board deposit is $150 per person (except under 6)

Meditation Week

Come spend a week devoted to “practicing presence”, inspired by a community of kindred spirits, and enlivened by the beauty of nature. Our conference makes the most of this ideal island setting, in a retreat format that balances meditation practice, nature encounter and community building, for a week of insight, growth and renewal.

We will spend each morning together in silence, following a formal schedule of sitting and walking meditation sessions. Afternoon will be devoted to solitary nature-contemplation and free time. Evening will be a social time for some, while others may opt to remain silent. We will end the day with a candlelight chapel service and a return to silent contemplation.

This retreat is suitable for beginning to experienced meditators, from a variety of traditions and faith backgrounds. Our silent time together will be compatible with many forms of meditation, such as Buddhist calm-abiding, Christian centering prayer, and other simple “be here now” styles.
Families with children may attend by special arrangement. Contact the registrar for details.

Registration: $85 fee per person, plus room and board deposit, payable to “Studio Zero”. A tax-deductible donation to our scholarship fund would also be very generous at this time.

Living in Beauty: An Innerpeace Healing Arts Retreat
