2008 Star Digital Photography Workshop

Sunday, August 10 to Saturday, August 16

Join professional and long-time Isles of Shoals photographer Peter Randall for a weeklong workshop devoted to helping you make better photographs. Digital photography eliminates the need to send out film for processing so we can review your work daily and see each other's work using LCD projectors. Daily assignments and critiques will help participants sharpen their creative vision. We'll discuss cameras and printers, raw vs. jpegs, and setting up your camera to help you make better images. We will be able to make prints and have our own exhibit at the end of the week. This is not a beginner's program so participants must have some experience with photography, be open to trying new approaches to making images, and be familiar with their digital cameras. If you have them, bring a laptop, storage device, tripod, or other accessories that you normally use. The registration fee covers the cost of ink and paper for making prints. More detailed information will be sent to those who register. Limited to 20 participants.
