Writers in the Round Retreat on Star is a creative retreat for songwriters and poets. The spirit of the retreat is supportive, creative and collaborative. It is a time for stretching boundaries, cross genre inspiration, and fresh salt air. We welcome all levels of artistry. WITR offers daily classes, unstructured time for composition and collaboration, small group workshops, and nightly song and poetry swaps. The 2005 and 2006 retreats drew writers from NH, ME, RI, MA, NY, and CT. Past participants felt that the experience was unprecedented in sparking creativity, and in providing a safe learning environment. The instructors were supportive of risk taking and truly nurturing in a number of ways.

Registration: General registration runs from May 1 to August 15, 2007. A conference deposit of $150/person is due with registration. Please mail CHECK for $150, payable to "Deidre Randall/WITR," and completed registration form, to Deidre Randall (address above). The conference deposit is non-refundable.
Room and Board: Early Bird Registration is from May 1 to June 21, 2008. All funds must arrive by June 21, 2008 in order to qualify for Early Bird Registration.
