Theme: ZodiYAC—What's your sign?

YAC welcomes people in their first decades of adult independence. In this stage of our lives, the old standards do not apply and many of us find ourselves on new, different, or perhaps unexpected paths in life. YAC is a time to come together and share the experience of being part of a very special community—trading stories, growing together as individuals and as a conference. Our time on Star Island is a retreat from the trials of everyday life, a time to (re)connect with friends, to (re)energize our spirits and to revel in being away from it all while being a part of something greater. At YAC we are an intentional community—a self-propelling wheel if you will. As a conferee driven experience, we invite you to share your talents, ideas, hobbies, passions, & advice with each other throughout the week. We also encourage everyone to take time to enjoy YAC and the island on a personal level—whether it's catching up on simple things that slip away in your hectic mainland life like reading a book and straight chillin' on the lawn, or eating 12 grilled cheeses at lunch just because you can, and cutting loose on the dance floor like it's 1999 again. Whether you come for four nights, seven nights or just overnight, you are part of a community that operates year round (because the memories don't fade, and we give you everyone's contact information).

4-night: Room & board deposit $75/person; registration fee $40/person.

7-night Room & board deposit $150/person; registration fee $65/person.

Registration: Room & board deposit and registration fee are due with registration form. An optional scholarship donation, whether it's $5 or $50, is greatly appreciated! Please mail ONE CHECK, payable to "Rebecca Hutton, YAC Registrar," and a completed registration form to Rebecca Hutton 28 Richardson St. Brighton, MA 02135. If you would prefer to receive conference info via regular mail, please include a SASE. Registration begins March 10, please get your registrations in by May 1st, after that reg fees will go up to $50/$75 respectively. The room & board deposit and registration fee are refundable until May 1.

Scholarships: Scholarship money is available! Applications can be downloaded from our website or you may request one to be mailed to you. Scholarship applications are due by April 15th and scholarships will be awarded on or before May 1.
