Restore and Revive
July 22 - July 26
Women like us are the quiet architects of the world’s well-being. We nurture, guide, and illuminate the path for others, showing up with courage, empathy, and unwavering presence. But, too often, doing so takes us off our own paths and away from what nurtures and inspires us, leaving us feeling unmoored, unfulfilled, and sometimes, unwell. It’s time for that to change.
This retreat will offer you a spacious, supportive chance to step back from others’ needs and expectations in order to reconnect with your own. Through a carefully-designed sequence of facilitated workshops, guided meditation and yoga exercises, shared meals, journaling prompts, music and small-group conversations, you will reconnect with what it is that you most want and need in this current chapter of your life. Then, you’ll use those insights to visualize a future designed with what matters most so that you can start living the life you have imagined for yourself.
You’ll return home feeling grounded, recharged, and empowered to start building your own path of sustainable, restorative behaviors and mindsets that fit you rather than continuing to squeeze yourself into ones that don’t. Optional group calls after the program will offer you the kind of encouragement and support you offer others in making small and achievable modifications that can bring you closer and closer to your vision and to the people, activities, beliefs and life that nurture you.
For over 35 years, Pratt Bennet has been coaching people from around the world to reconnect with the wisdom of their gut and heart, figure out what kind of changes they want to make, then connect those insights with their head to put them into action. His greatest joy in coaching is helping people discover strengths they didn’t know they had, strategies they’d never tried before, and solutions they’d never thought of. He lives in Boston with his wife and cats.
Scarlet Keys is an author, musician, podcaster and award winning songwriter. She has been a professor at the Berklee College of Music for the past 24 years and is a former staff writer for Warner Bros. Her latest book “What if it All Goes Right: Practicing Hope in the Hardest Times” was chosen by best selling author and neuroscientist Dr. Daniel Levitin as his most impactful book of 2024 featured in the Wall Street Journal.
A cancer diagnosis sparked a journey of self reflection and a shift in focus on how to live more deeply and intentionally no matter what we are faced with. They told her she would need chemotherapy and surgery. She said, “O.k., but can I do it while laughing and dancing and full of gratitude? Sign me up!” We can make meaning and even something beautiful from the ruble and her book and her retreats are the beautiful things. Her TED talk, and NPR interview on TED Radio hour have helped spread her message and the hopeful book that she passionately shares with the people who need to be reminded of the things that matter most as we navigate the challenges of being human.
