Come join us for a rug hooking retreat like no other, on the amazing and beautiful Star Island in the Isles of Shoals just off the coast of NH. Breathe in the sea air in one of the porch rockers, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Re-discover your creativity and unwind in a truly unique and beautiful setting where the stress of mainland life is left behind.

Whether you are an experienced or new to the sport of rug hooking, retreaters can either begin a new project or work on an “in-progress” with Instructor Pam Bartlett. We will explore new techniques, share thoughts, look at color and perspectives and how to use it in rug hooking.In this instructional retreat we will explore and focus on your creative process in rug hooking, while basking in the peace and quiet beauty of Star Island.

Our goal is letting your relax, reconnect with your “inner hooker” and have fun in a truly unique place. Changing things up from a mindfulness based focus to mindful learning experience gives us additional focus to grow, create and relax. Each morning will begin with a mindfulness exercise and/or discussion to help you on your rug hooking journey.
