Celebrate the end of the summer with a day trip out to Star Island on Sunday, September 15 for our Open House. This will be a day to relax, explore, and have fun.

The day starts when you board the M/V Thomas Laighton in Portsmouth, NH, at 12:30 PM. Traveling down the Piscataqua River, you’ll be treated to a history tour and views of the Seacoast. Once on Star Island, go to the Front Porch for refreshments while a flotilla of kites flies overhead.

The afternoon holds many options. You can opt for a bit of structured time with a tour of the island or an island workshop. You can also start your adventure with a scavenger hunt or lawn games. Or settle into a rocking chair on the porch to take in the Isles of Shoals while music plays.

The Open House welcomes families and individuals of all ages. Tickets include transportation aboard the Thomas Laighton, food (non-alcoholic) beverages, and island activities.
