Midweek II – A Creative Retreat of Community and Renewal
Join us for a creative retreat of renewal and community on Star Island! Midweek II Retreat offers opportunities for poetry and art, singing and movement, and Abundant time to explore our island, its ancient rocks facing the open ocean, historic museum and buildings, read a favorite book in a rocking chair on the porch, engage in meaningful conversations, play, and find renewal and peace with this returning community of Star lovers. We hold morning services led by our minister, Rev. Telos, followed by a Quaker circle, and we hold evening candlelight services. Poet Steven Ratiner will lead a poetry workshop, and there will be opportunities if you would like to lead an experience too! Will be having a one-day watercolor workshop. Bring a musical instrument, a blank journal, and your knitting or beads, and we hope you’ll join us as we return to our Spirits Home.
