Writers in the Round 2025

September 5 - September 8

This retreat is open to poets and songwriters of all levels. We have craft workshops for each genre and time to review new material. In the evening, we share our work. Our focus is to support one another as we play with language and sound and all its beautiful possibilities.

Our guest facilitators are chosen for their expertise in their field, and for their teaching experience. We welcome people new to writing as well as people who abandoned the practice, or those who are life-long practitioners. There’s a place for everyone at our table, and we hope everyone who participates in our conference leaves with more confidence, new material, and new friends. Our conference participants have called their time with Writers in the Round “transformative,” and “life changing.” Come play with us.

Writers in the Round Facilitators:

Jud Caswell will be a guest musician and facilitator for songwriting workshops, and Stuart Kestenbaum will be a guest poet and facilitator for poetry workshops.
