5-7:30 PM | Saturday, November 19, 2022 | 10 Middle Street, Portsmouth, NH
Starry Night returns in 2022 as an in-person event. Like previous Starry Nights, this annual event will feature a silent auction, a theme talk, live music, and refreshments. We look forward to welcoming you to this lively event whether you know Star Island very well, or are just in the mood for good conversation and entertainment. This year we are excited to have Isaac Fitzgerald as the featured speaker. Before and after his talk you are welcome to bid in the silent auction on any number of items. If you’re looking to add to your Star Island art collection, the Starry Night silent auction always has several pieces available.

The Starry Night silent auction is known for its creative offerings. You’ll likely find artwork by people who visit Star Island, and artwork featuring scenes from the island. You are invited to stroll through the gallery space to see what items you might like to purchase for yourself, or as a gift. We aim to have items of various price points to bid on, and various types of items. For instance, you could bid on the chance to name a frappe from the Star Island’s Snack Bar in 2023. Winning bids for the silent auction will support the Star Island Annual Fund.
Local musician Seth Gooby will perform two sets of music during Starry Night this year. He will provide live music before and after the theme talk by Isaac Fitzgerald. You may recall Seth’s music from previous in-person Starry Night events, and we look forward to hearing him perform again. If you’re curious about his music, check out Seth’s website to hear him play.
